Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work schedules and assignments.
  • Communicates and enforces safety procedures and site rules.
  • Prepare daily project reports.
  • Maintain jobsite and common area protection and cleanliness.
  • Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to owners and architects; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
  • Ensure specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed.
  • Schedule and meet with Inspection Departments and Inspectors on site to achieve all required sign-offs pertaining to the project.
  • Attend and participate in Superintendent Meetings, Safety Meetings, and Construction Site Meetings.
  • Communicate and coordinate construction activities with existing tenants in an occupied building.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized job site at all times.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Previous experience in construction or other related fields
  • AAS or BS in Construction related field
  • Thorough understanding of quality building practices
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans
  • Proficient with smart phone and PC
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
